Snowboard Bindings Boa
Jan/100

I need help choosing a snowboard size. Buying Ride gear.?
I’m a beginner, but looking to have a board that I can learn on, but more concerned about a board I can grow into (for at least 2 seasons) as my skills progress.
I want to just go downhill for the first couple of seasons, then get into tricks/park riding after that. I’m 5′8″ 220lbs. Most of my weight is on my legs and high upper body. I need a board.
I’m looking at Ride Control board with either EX or SPI bindings. What size board should I get? My preferences in make is either Ride or K2 and I’ve heard better things on Ride.
Let me know if there’s a better setup. Oh, and I have DC Graphix Boa boots already.
I will only get K2 or Ride, as they are both local here in WA state and I support local economy. And of course local discount : – )
It is best to go to a snow Board shop and have them measure you to a board. With your height you will ride about a 5 foot board. Technine makes a very cool, affordable board that is about the right length for you. I like Twolashed, Prion snow boots–especially for beginners; they’re more flexible and forgiving than the high end Burtons.
